CURRICULUMAlthough a lot of the content of this area of my website was developed when I was actively home educating my kids between 1986-2004, I am continually adding curriculum specific content. Don't forget to pin our free The Educating Parent Resource Directory to your browser so you can quickly find a subject specific Australian homeschool providers, tutors and suppliers - over 100 pages of information and listings. Curriculum SubjectsMost of the articles under these subjects or key learning areas offer tips on how you can help your children learn in these specific areas, rather than presenting a collection of lesson plans or activity suggestions as there are already gazillion of those on the internet easily found by a guided search. AI generative content tools have made it even easier to generate ideas for homeschool activities too. This section is where I share what worked for my family, how we home educated.
Curriculum ChecklistsThese are a selection of the lists I created or collated while homeschooling my children. Some families create their own, as I did, but it's also possible to use your state's syllabus or the national curriculum list of 'outcomes' as a tool for recording and reporting.
