Arts Learning in Australian Home Education Survey
Would you like to participate in a survey on arts learning in Australian home education and go into the draw to win a $100 Booktopia voucher?
Hi Aussie home educators,
My name is Katie Burke. I've home educated my children in the past for a period of 8 years and am also passionate about the arts. I am now keen to continue my interests though a research project exploring the arts in home education. As part of this research project, I am conducting a short survey which seeks to find out how home educators feel about the arts, their involvement with the arts, and the challenges or successes experienced. The survey should take under 5 minutes to complete. This research has obtained ethical clearance from the University of Southern Queensland.
You can remain completely anonymous, however if you would like to go into the random draw to win a prize of a $100 Booktopia voucher you will need to include your contact details at the end of the survey. These details will not be available to other survey respondents, only to the researcher, and will remain strictly confidential. If you have any questions or concerns, you are most welcome to email me on this address.
The survey can be found on the following Survey Monkey link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/L7PSQ6K
Please feel free to share this link with your home educating contacts. Good luck!

Together with the support of my family, my aim is to help parents educate their children in stress-free, nurturing environments. In addition to building and maintaing this website, I continue to create and manage local and national home educating networks, help to organise conferences and camps, as well as write for, edit and produce newsletters, resource directories and magazines. I am an active supporter of national, state, regional and local home education groups.
We began educating our children in 1985, when our eldest was five. In truth, we had helped them learn what they need to learn since they were born. I am a passionate advocate of allowing children to learn unhindered by unnecessary stress and competition, meeting developmental needs in ways that suit their individual learning styles and preferences. Ours was a homeschooling, unschooling and natural learning family! There are hundreds of articles on this site to help you build confidence as a home educating family. We hope that your home educating adventure is as satisfying as ours was! Beverley Paine
