Visit or stay with a home educating familyInterested in travelling home educating families visiting you for an afternoon or couple of days? At the moment dozens of homeschooling and unschooling families are on the road, exploring this vast, wonderful country of ours. Some are on short interstate holidays while others are doing 'the big trip' in campers, buses or caravans. I've created a database to enable travelling home educating families can more easily visit or stay with other families along their route. You are welcome to add your details to the 'visit us' group database. The aim of this database is to help people connect with each other, sharing experiences, create and enhance educational opportunities and make friends. Arrangements for visiting and staying need to be made between the families involved: this database is simply a contact list. Ask as many questions of each other as is necessary to feel comfortable. To access the database you need to join Aussie Homeschool Campers. Members can opt to receive emails from other members or read posts on the site. Only Australian Homeschool Campers group members can participate - if a friend wishes to be added, please send them an invite to join the group. Please keep contact details confidential - if someone wants information about families on the database, ask them to join the group. This way we can protect the privacy of members. Before you leave the group please delete your database entry. Post any questions about the database on the group. Beverley Paine, Group Owner and Moderator Was this article helpful? Welcome to the World of Home Education We began educating our children in 1985, when our eldest was five. In truth, we had helped them learn what they need to learn since they were born. I am a passionate advocate of allowing children to learn unhindered by unnecessary stress and competition, meeting developmental needs in ways that suit their individual learning styles and preferences. Ours was a homeschooling, unschooling and natural learning family! There are hundreds of articles on this site to help you build confidence as a home educating family. We hope that your home educating adventure is as satisfying as ours was! Beverley Paine
